EtHop Services was founded with a strong commitment to community care and connection. Established by Alberta’s first Black bilingual paramedic and respected Francophone community leader, our company is dedicated to supporting the daily needs of seniors, students, newcomers, and both Francophone and Anglophone families across Edmonton and the surrounding region. With compassion, professionalism, and cultural understanding at the heart of everything we do, EtHop Services is here to make everyday life easier, safer, and more inclusive.
The name EtHop! embodies our spirit: a quick, efficient, and generous response. Like a spontaneous gesture of help, a surge of solidarity. EtHop is about reaching out to others. Care, service, support.

📦 EtHop Moving - A human-centered move, focused on your needs.
It all started with calls for help: neighbors, friends, and community members trying to move furniture on their own, sometimes at the risk of injury. We saw elderly people carrying loads that were too heavy, students without vehicles, and families without a network. EtHop Moving was born to avoid these dangerous situations by offering a caring, reliable, and bilingual moving service.
Our movers are not just strong arms: they are good Samaritans, trained in safety, attentive, and respectful of your belongings and your emotions.
⛑️ EtHop Safety – Prevention saves lives
One day, a customer injured himself while attempting to do a “two-man job” on his own. That was the turning point: safety cannot be improvised. EtHop Safety was created to train, prevent, and protect. We offer certified first aid training in French and English so that everyone can take action in an emergency—at home, at work, or on the street.
Because knowing what to do can save a life. EtHop Safety is the natural extension of our mission: to take care, before it's too late.
🚑 EtHop Care – Care in motion
During our rounds, we encountered isolated seniors, French-speaking patients without transportation, and worried families. EtHop Care is our response to this deep and invisible need: the need to travel for medical care with dignity, in one's own language, and with compassion.
We plan to integrate a French-speaking medical transportation service in the medium term. For the moment, hospital transfer services and non-urgent but essential routine visits are available to accompany the most vulnerable to their appointments, treatments, and well-being.
